Tony Mobasser, a seasoned professional with over three decades of extensive experience in the private country club industry, has made significant contributions throughout his career, primarily in Northern Virginia. Notably, he served as the Club Manager at Loudoun Country Club for over three years, followed by an impressive 18-year tenure as the General Manager at Chantilly National. Subsequently, he continued his impactful journey, spending 12 years as the General Manager at Tantallon Golf Club. Throughout his leadership roles, Tony has remained steadfast in prioritizing member satisfaction and fostering a positive and inspiring work environment for his team. His sterling reputation as a highly respected General Manager within the Northern Virginia community is a testament to his commitment to excellence and dedication to the industry he has been part of for so long. With a wealth of over 30 years of experience in the private club industry, Tony brings invaluable expertise that is poised to elevate Duck Wood Country Club member experience while aligning seamlessly with the club's vision for success and sustained progress. Tony and Marjan are a couple blessed with a daughter, Roxanne. In his leisure time, Tony likes to travel and perfect his golf skills on the green.

Natallia joined Duck Woods as Club Controller in March 2020. A native of Belarus, Natallia moved to the OBX in 2010. She graduated with honors from North Carolina Wesleyan College with a degree in Accounting. Prior to joining the Duck Woods team, Natallia worked at the Dare County Finance Department. She is highly motivated, detail oriented, and is always eager to learn and continue education. Natallia is a Notary Public and is currently pursuing her path to become a CPA. Natallia and her husband Igor reside in Kitty Hawk and have two children, Mark and Olivia. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing the piano, and baking.




David Eure

David has over twenty years’ experience in turf grass management, including as our Assistant Golf Course Superintendent from 1993 to 1999 before he went to work for Tournament Players Club Organization. David has a strong background in managing semi-private facility agronomy programs with various turf grasses from South to North Carolina, as well as tournament quality conditions. David has a degree in turfgrass management, is working on a business degree at Liberty University, and has a background in applied sciences. David enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with his wife, Heather, and their three sons: Seth, Liam, and Hayden.




Scott Wasco

Scott Wasco joins our club with an extensive background in the golf business. Even though he was born and raised in Chesapeake, his first part of his golf career started in Southern California. He has run many celebrity golf tournaments throughout his career, The Marshall Faulk Celebrity Golf Classic was his favorite. Shortly after earning his PGA membership, he accepted his first Head Professional Job, since then, He has been the Head Professional at many prestigious clubs in Southern California. With his wife also being from the Tidewater area they always wanted to move back east. Greenbrier CC in Chesapeake, VA helped them achieve that goal by making him their Head Professional. Scott and his wife Kristin have two kids, Ava (15), and Kellen (13). Fun fact, Scott’s Boston Terrier dog is named after his favorite golf course. Torrey Pines.

A native from Las Vegas, Nevada, Kyle studied in Professional Golf Management with a degree in Hospitality from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Kyle is a PGA Associate and is currently pursuing his path to become of member of the PGA of America.

Lauren a native of Reading, Pennsylvania grew up spending her summers in the Outer Banks and moved here permanently after attending school at The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) for Hospitality & Tourism Management. She has recently completed her Wedding MBA Certification and is apart of the Club Management Association of America, where she is actively involved with the Young Professionals in the Carolina's Chapter. In her free time she enjoys spending time at the beach with her friends, family & her Golden Retriever, Zola Mae!




Daniel Lewis

Originally from the Hudson Valley of New York State, Dan is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, with continued education in food and wine studies at their Napa Valley campus. Executive Chef Dan Lewis has over forty years of professional kitchen experience. While many members may know Dan most recently as chef/owner of Coastal Provisions Oyster Bar, Dan also has experience in clubs and hotels in Atlanta and Washington, DC, and prior to relocating to the Outer Banks in 2006, was Corporate Chef for specialty food retailer Sutton Place Gourmet and Balducci's in the DC area, NY, and CT. Dan is also a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, and a Certified Specialist In Wine with the Society of Wine Educators. He's been very involved in the OBX community, having served as president of the Outer Banks Restaurant Association, the NC Coastal Federation advisory board, and the Dare County Schools CTE advisory board. When not in the kitchen, Dan enjoys gardening -growing over 100 varieties of heirloom vegetables and herbs, spending time with his partner, Amelia, toddler, Oliver, and looking forward to visits from his daughter Meghan from her studies at UNCW.




Joseph Linton

Joseph was born in Raleigh, North Carolina and graduated high school at Camden County High. He then attended Nashville Auto/Diesel College in Nashville, Tennessee. Joseph is a Gulf War Veteran, honorably discharged in 1993 and has lived in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, since 2000. Joseph has one son who currently lives in Florida and enjoys bringing his knowledge of facility maintenance to Duck Woods Country Club.

Kevin is a certified Tennis and Pickleball Professional that has over twenty years of experience in Racquet Sports from coach at the IGM Bollettieri Academy to Director of Racquet Sports at fine country clubs throughout the region. Kevin is an experienced coach and instructor for all ages and levels of players. Kevin graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Kinesiology, where he played NCAA Division 1 Tennis. Kevin spent summers on the Outer Banks as a youngster and is happy to be living on the Outer Banks with his family.




Whitney Brodeur

Assistant Racquet Sports Professional

Whitney Brodeur has been with Duck Woods Country Club for over twenty years. A longtime local, he has twenty-five years of teaching experience in the Outer Banks. Whitney employs a feel good based approach to teaching and has a keen eye for the technical aspects of the game.
